POSITION SUMMARY
The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure. As a Bartender, it is your responsibility to seek to understand the guest's needs while preparing perfect beverages made to our standards in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s) Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards Deliver genuine hospitality to and establish emotional connections with our guests Contribute to the overall teamwork and success of the restaurant Communicate effectively with guests and team members Determine guests needs while making the appropriate recommendations and offerings to enhance the dining experience Presents the best we have to offer, never selling the guest anything Prepares drink orders for guests and servers according to recipes in a timely manner Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to sound and sight details in crowded and noisy situations, particularly when handling multiple tasks. Answer guest questions regarding food and beverage offerings Adhere to all alcohol awareness procedures Handle guest complaints professionally and alert a manager immediately Process payments and handle cash professionally and accurately Ensure established pars are maintained. Communicate with managers and hosts regarding table availability and key table updates Follow up with guests about their meal and dining experience to ensure great guest satisfaction Demonstrate professional and gracious demeanor at all times Thanks guests for coming in with a personable farewell and inviting them to return. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation Demonstrate professional and gracious demeanor at all times Perform all opening, running, and closing duties accurately Perform any job function requested by the management team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching. Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 20 pounds frequently. Continuous standing required to service guest functions; 100% of the time scheduled. Coordination skills that allow proper writing, pouring and carrying of several drinks and plates at the same time. Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School; able to communicate (speak, read, and write) in
English Experience:
Previous hospitality experience is preferred
Computer Skills:
Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system
Certificates & Licenses:
TIPS Certified Other Requirements:
Must meet the local, legal minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages; coordination skills that allow proper pouring and carrying of several drinks and plates at the same time
