Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed while maintaining proper storage and cleanliness standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for billing, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or catering events to ensure seamless guest experiences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to sanitation standards including food handling protocols. Assist in bar management tasks such as training new staff, overseeing service flow during busy hours, and supporting event setups like banquets or catering functions. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining settings or similar hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Demonstrated expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and brewing techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry. Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing processes. Experience with banquet service or catering events is a plus. Knowledge of beverage trends and a passion for hospitality that drives memorable guest interactions.
