Bartender

Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. Manage POS systems efficiently for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties, providing correct change, and balancing registers at shift end. Assist in setting up for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all beverage needs are met seamlessly. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; communicate replenishment needs proactively. Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and beverage service to uphold health standards. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order entry and sales management. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management. Experience working in a hospitality environment such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of brewing techniques or catering services is a plus but not required.
