Bartender / Server Mexicana Grill & Cantina West Newton, MA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $27 - $35 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Bartender — Mexicana Grill & Cantina Mexicana Grill & Cantina is looking for an energetic, friendly, and experienced Bartender to join our team in West Newton, MA. We are a busy Mexican restaurant and cantina featuring Latin music, DJs, dancing, karaoke, and weekend nightlife. We're looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service while keeping up in a fast-paced bar environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages Provide friendly and professional customer service Take drink orders accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar Process payments and handle cash/card transactions Check identification and follow Massachusetts alcohol-service regulations Maintain a positive and professional attitude during busy shifts Work effectively with servers, kitchen staff, management, and other bartenders Qualifications Previous bartending experience preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Comfortable working busy Friday and Saturday nights Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol in Massachusetts Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Knowledge of cocktails and Latin/restaurant nightlife is a plus Schedule Primarily Friday & Saturday evenings/nights. Our weekend nights can be very busy, with Latin music, DJs, dancing, and karaoke, so we're looking for someone who enjoys a high-energy environment.
