Strong base pay + tips + performance incentives About Us Barrio Tacos + Tequila + Whiskey is a high-volume restaurant and bar known for premium tequila, whiskey, and delivering fast, consistent service in a high-energy environment. We are seeking an experienced Bartender ready to step into a leadership role as a Shift Supervisor. Position Overview The Bartender / Shift Supervisor is responsible for executing efficient bar service while assisting with daily operations, team leadership, and maintaining service standards. This role combines high-volume bartending with supervisory responsibilities during assigned shifts. Responsibilities Bartending Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately according to company standards. Maintain strong knowledge of tequila, whiskey, beer, wine, and cocktail offerings. Manage multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately. Leadership & Supervision Lead front-of-house team members during assigned shifts. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Maintain service speed, cleanliness, and operational standards. Train and support new team members. Resolve operational issues and support smooth shift execution. Communicate effectively with managers, kitchen staff, and service teams. Assist with inventory management, ordering, and product control. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of spirits, tequila, whiskey, beer, and cocktails. Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain).
