Please apply Monday thru Thursday from 11am-2pm We are a locally owned and operated neighborhood pub looking for experienced bartenders to join our team in Weymouth. Multiple shifts are available but candidates must be able to work weekends. Candidates must have a background working in a high volume, fast paced bar or restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. This role requires a strong understanding of various beverage offerings, food safety practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering is highly desirable. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies and equipment. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting needs to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including banquets and catering events. Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities. Skills Proficient in Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent sales abilities to promote drink specials and increase overall revenue. Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred for understanding upscale service expectations. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly. Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or retail settings, is advantageous. Familiarity with brewing techniques can be beneficial for craft beer offerings.
