Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server/Bar Tender, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this vibrant role, you will serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively atmosphere. Your expertise in food handling, beverage service, and guest relations will be essential in delivering a top-tier dining and nightlife experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge, sales skills, and passion for hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and drinks efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and dining spaces by bussing tables and assisting with food preparation when needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to uphold high standards of hygiene. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating an inviting atmosphere suitable for both fine dining and nightlife settings. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and cashiering tasks accurately. Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous; kitchen or culinary experience is a plus. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties like bussing tables or cleaning the bar area.
