Job Description
Server / Bartender- Come Make Some Regulars For nearly 50 years, Baltimore has been coming through our doors for date nights, birthdays, business lunches, brunch, oysters, cocktails, weddings, and plenty of nights that started with "let's just grab a drink." We're looking for a few great Servers to join the team. This Might Be Your Kind of Place We like servers who actually enjoy taking care of people . Yes, you need to know the menu, ring things correctly, handle a busy section, and keep up when the dining room gets slammed. But great service is more than that. Notice the guest standing at the door and welcome them in. Learn your regulars' names. Offer to take a jacket. Know when a table wants to chat and when they want some space. Recommend the oyster you actually like. Make a birthday feel like a birthday. We want people who treat guests a little like they're welcoming them into their own home. What You're Walking Into This is a busy, established restaurant with nearly 50 years of history and generations of loyal guests. You'll serve everything from casual lunches and weekend brunch to busy dinner services, celebrations and large private events. We have a full bar, a serious seafood and raw bar program, and plenty of opportunities to learn, sell and build a following of your own. Some nights are smooth. Some nights are controlled chaos. The best ones are a little bit of both. Who Does Well Here? You don't need 20 years of restaurant experience. We'd rather hire someone with personality, work ethic, curiosity and genuine hospitality than someone with a perfect résumé who stopped enjoying the business years ago. Experience is absolutely a plus, especially in high-volume or upscale casual restaurants. But we're really looking for people who are: Warm, confident and comfortable talking to anyone Fast without making guests feel rushed Reliable and ready to work as part of a team Interested in food, cocktails, wine and learning more Able to read a table and create an experience, not just take an order Excited to make money while giving people a reason to come back Why Work Here? You get the energy and earning potential of a busy restaurant without wondering whether the place will still be around next year. We're established, we're busy, and we're still evolving. You'll work alongside people who care about hospitality, have opportunities to pick up private events and busy shifts, learn a ton about food and beverage, and build relationships with guests who have been coming here for years. And if hospitality is something you want to make a career out of, there is room to grow here. Interested? Send us your résumé and tell us a little about yourself. Restaurant experience gets our attention. Great hospitality gets you the job.
