Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our team in a family friendly dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and excellent customer service skills, ensuring that guests enjoy a memorable experience. As a Bartender/Server you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and providing exceptional service to patrons. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink and food orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all payments are processed efficiently. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests seated at the bar. Uphold food handling standards to guarantee the safety and quality of all beverages served. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in bartending or family friendly dining establishments. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash and making change. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Certification in food handling or responsible beverage service is required.
