Block House in Alma, MI is looking for one server to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and exhibits strong customer service skills. Block House brings people together with an unforgettable atmosphere; delicious food and drinks, welcoming service, and a grassroots approach to gaming, live streams, and special events. Located in a renovated opera house in downtown Alma, Michigan, Block House screens local events and cult classic films on 9ft barrel vaults. Our stage hosts official collegiate, high school and youth esports competitions. This is all backed by a gaming server and broadcast backbone that serves the community as a local production hub. Our servers are expected to serve guests from the moment they walk in until they step out the door while helping customers experience a comfortable and personal connection to all that goes on at Block House. Responsibilities Greeting guests and seating them at correct tables Presenting the menu and helping customers select food Delivering food to tables Clearing tables quickly and at a high standard Delivering a great customer experience Keep restaurant clean and organized throughout shift Bussing and turning tables quickly Supporting customers with gaming assistance throughout their experience Qualifications Ability to listen and communicate effectively Able to multitask efficiently Strong organizational skills Experience as a Server preferred Clean Positive attitude Team player We are looking forward to receiving your application.
