Job Description
Bartender Forest | Birmingham, MI About Forest Defined by elegant precision and a polished Mediterranean perspective, Forest serves contemporary Continental cuisine with Italian leanings in a sleek, glass-encased dining room. As a cornerstone of the Birmingham dining scene, we pride ourselves on being a study in understated simplicity and fine-dining finesse. Projected Start Date We are currently closed for a series of interior renovations to further elevate our guest experience. We are seeking to build our team now in preparation for our reopening during the first week of May. The Role We are looking for a professional Bartender who brings technical precision and a sophisticated presence to the bar. You will be responsible for executing a refined beverage program that complements our kitchen, ensuring every guest receives intuitive and polished service. Key Responsibilities Craft cocktails with a focus on balance, technique, and premium ingredients. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our wine list and spirits, providing expert pairings for our menu. Provide a high level of engagement and hospitality to guests seated at the bar and in the dining room. Maintain an immaculate bar station and adhere to all organization and cleaning standards. Work collaboratively with the floor staff to ensure seamless service throughout the dining room. Qualifications Significant experience (at least 2 years) behind the bar in a fine-dining or upscale hospitality setting. A strong foundation in classic cocktail preparation and wine service. Professionalism in both appearance and communication. Current ServSafe Alcohol or equivalent certification is a plus. Availability to work evening shifts Monday through Saturday. Why Join Forest?
