Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires experience in upscale dining or nightlife settings, where attention to detail and a commitment to quality are paramount. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests, helping to create repeat business. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections and menu items. Process transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events such as banquets or catering functions. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for reordering to management. Uphold high standards of hospitality while creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with guests in a friendly manner. Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by business needs.
