Duties & Responsibilities Welcome guests with genuine hospitality, create an inviting atmosphere, and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their visit. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, presentation standards, portioning, and responsible alcohol service requirements. Maintain strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, food offerings, and current promotions; make recommendations that enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve as a point person for the bar during assigned shifts, helping coordinate priorities, support fellow associates, and address routine operational or guest-service issues. Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and efficient bar operation, including coolers, storage areas, liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies. Assist management with beverage ordering, inventory counts, par levels, product needs, and inventory control while helping minimize shortages, waste, and overstock. Help develop new cocktails, seasonal beverages, drink features, and specialty offerings that complement the Pins menu, Resort events, and changing seasons. Partner with Food & Beverage leadership on beverage promotions, happy hours, game-day specials, themed offerings, and other ideas designed to grow beverage sales, enhance the guest experience, and keep Pins fresh and relevant for local residents and Resort guests. Help ensure consistency among bartenders in drink preparation, recipes, presentation, bar organization, opening and closing procedures, and overall service standards. Assist with training and onboarding bartenders and service associates on beverage preparation, POS procedures, bar operations, guest-service expectations, and responsible alcohol service. Process food and beverage orders accurately through the Point-of-Sale system and perform cash-handling, opening, closing, and related operating procedures accurately. Work closely with servers, culinary associates, and management to ensure smooth service, and assist with Resort events, tournaments, weddings, banquets, and other functions as needed. Promote Resort amenities, dining, golf, recreation, events, and upcoming activities when appropriate, and professionally address guest concerns or escalate issues to management when necessary. Assist with special events, banquets, tournaments, weddings, and Resort functions as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, resort, or bar preferred. Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails. Excellent guest service and communication skills. Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport with guests. Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional during busy service periods. Strong multitasking and time-management skills. Experience with Point-of-Sale systems preferred. Current ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire). Must be at least 21 years of age. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Reach, bend, stoop, and carry supplies throughout the shift.
