Located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, we cater to a discerning clientele seeking a refined nightlife experience.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled, personable, and passionate Bartender to join our team at our upscale cocktail lounge in Grand Rapids. This is a premium hospitality environment where craft cocktails, exceptional guest experiences, and seamless teamwork are the standard. Responsibilities:

Craft high-quality, consistent cocktails with creativity and precision using our extensive spirit selection. Deliver top-tier customer service — engage guests warmly, make recommendations, and ensure every interaction enhances their visit. Manage the bar efficiently during peak hours: fast, accurate service while maintaining a clean and organized station. Build guest loyalty by remembering regular customers, their preferences, and making them feel recognized and welcome. Maintain impeccable bar presentation — proactive cleaning, restocking, and organization throughout the shift. Collaborate closely with the host, servers, and kitchen team to ensure smooth, cohesive service. Close the bar thoroughly and support the team as needed past midnight when required. Uphold the lounge's upscale standards in professionalism, appearance, and attention to detail at all times.

Qualifications:

2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale bar/lounge preferred. Strong mixology knowledge and passion for craft cocktails (spirits, wine, beer, and classic/modern recipes). Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to read guests and create memorable experiences. Ability to stay positive and composed in a lively, loud, fast-paced environment. Proactive team player who takes initiative on side work, cleanliness, and supporting the team. Reliable with a strong work ethic — committed to full shifts and helping close strong. Professional appearance and polished presentation. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule:

Approximately 20-24 hours per week Wednesday (Open): 3:30pm

• 10:30pm+ Friday (Close): 6pm
• 1:00pm+ Saturday (Close): 6pm
