POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Bartender at CraftCo's Tasting Room, you are both a craftsperson and a host. You are responsible for delivering an exceptional bar experience by preparing handcrafted cocktails, guiding guests through curated spirit tastings, and serving as a knowledgeable ambassador for our portfolio of premium spirits. This role requires technical bartending skill, a deep appreciation for craft spirits, and a strong hospitality mindset. The Bartender creates a welcoming, energetic environment while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and service. You will work closely with the Tasting Room team to ensure seamless service and a memorable guest experience from first pour to final toast. Hours of operation-

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails, spirit flights, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards. Educate guests on CraftCo's spirits, production methods, flavor profiles, and brand stories. Provide thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences and tasting notes. Deliver attentive and engaging service at the bar while maintaining awareness of overall guest experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar environment at all times. Manage bar prep, batching, garnishes, glassware, and inventory rotation. Accurately process transactions using point of sale systems and handle cash responsibly. Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Monitor guest consumption and ensure compliance with liquor laws and responsible serving standards. Support special events, tastings, private bookings, and promotional activations as needed. Assist with opening and closing procedures including cleaning, restocking, and securing inventory. Collaborate with team members to create a positive, high energy, hospitality driven culture.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
One to three years of bartending experience, preferably in a craft cocktail, tasting room, or upscale hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of cocktail fundamentals, classic recipes, and modern techniques. Genuine passion for craft spirits, mixology, and hospitality. Ability to confidently speak about flavor profiles, production processes, and pairing recommendations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation. Outgoing, positive personality with excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism. Reliable, punctual, and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service in the State of Michigan. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Experience Required 1 year(s): At least a year of formal Bar Tending experience crafting mixed beverages and familiarity with unique recipes and ingredients.
