Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling expertise. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or casual dining settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems for processing transactions accurately. Extensive cocktail experience with a solid understanding of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, brewing processes, and beverage presentation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests. Effective time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently without compromising quality. Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience in bar management or hospitality industry roles that involve serving large groups or banquet settings is a plus.
