Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, particularly during catering events or special functions. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, assisting in ordering and restocking as needed. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards. Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat business. Experience Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele. Experience in sales or catering can enhance your effectiveness in upselling drinks and promoting specials.
