Job Description:

Our Beardstenders play an integral role in providing an excellent experience for our brewery guests. We are a high volume and fast paced brewpub, therefore it's crucial that all beardstenders are prepared and excited about working in a fast paced environment. Here at Beards we are passionate about craft and make as much of our product from scratch as we can. The right candidate must be passionate about food, service and of course, beer! Beardstenders are responsible for creating and building a positive experience for guests from the moment they sit down to the moment they make their departure from the pub. While our Beardstenders are expected to take orders, make recommendations and pour beers. The big picture goal is to create the best experience we can for each person walking through our doors. Beardstenders must stay up to date on all things Beards as they must be able to answer questions regarding Beards history, the Petoskey area, menu items, beer, and merchandise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to the Beards Employee handbook
• Provide excellent customer service with each guest interaction
• Respond to any guest questions with confidence
• Remain up to date on all things Beards
• Develop strong relationships with guests
• Report to work on time, every time
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Communicate effectively with all team members Passionate about craft through community.
• Cultivate a team oriented environment
• Keep open communication with management on ways to continually improve efficiencies
• Must be willing and able to pre and post bus tables
• Be willing to complete various cleaning projects Bartender
• Take orders and make food/beer recommendations
• Have the ability or be willing to learn how to properly pour a beer
• Great all guests that bypass hosts and help guide to proper areas
• Keep bar stocked with pop bottles, growlers, drinks

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Must be friendly and personable
• Ability to be on your feet 8+ hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must remain professional while having an outgoing personality to interact with our guests
• Cash handling skills
• Juggle a multitude of tasks at once
• Must become familiar with the POS (point of sales) system Passionate about craft through community.
