Job Description

Job Summary The Amendment is an upcoming steakhouse and grill house located at The Watershed development in downtown Sturgis, Michigan, featuring dry-aged steaks and craft cocktails. The Sommelier manages Amendment's wine program, engaging guests in thoughtful pairings and curating a cellar that complements the menu. Responsibilities Maintain and curate a diverse, high-quality wine list Guide guests through wine selections and pairings Educate FOH staff on wine knowledge and service standards Manage wine purchasing, inventory, and cost controls Host wine dinners, tastings, and special pairing events Requirements Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers or equivalent preferred) 3+ years in a fine dining wine service role Strong communication and hospitality skills Ability to balance cost with quality in building a wine program
Pay:
$54,507.84 - $65,643.85 per year
