The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in the food industry. This role involves taking orders, serving food, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces. Handle cash transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as required, demonstrating culinary skills when necessary. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment. Requirements Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards in the food industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in serving, cashiering, or other roles within the food service sector is beneficial.
