Server/Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, possibly making drinks, and ensuring that customers receive top-notch service throughout their visit. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will be key to your success in this role. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the appropriate systems, such as Toast. Quickly and accurately make cocktails and pour drinks (if assigned to bartender role). Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with care. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and special requests. Skills Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Proven customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to upsell menu items through persuasive communication techniques. Familiarity with guest services practices to enhance overall dining experiences. Previous sales experience is a plus, contributing to effective upselling strategies.
