Job Description
Position Summary The Barback supports bartenders by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, clean, organized, and operating efficiently throughout each shift. This role is essential in maintaining a fast-paced, high-quality guest experience by assisting with inventory, cleanliness, and bar setup. Responsibilities Stock beer, liquor, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies before, during, and after service. Replenish ice bins and maintain adequate ice levels throughout shifts. Remove empty bottles, kegs, boxes, and other waste from bar areas. Wash, polish, and restock glassware and bar tools. Change beer kegs and soda syrup containers as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations, storage areas, coolers, and service wells. Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, mixers, and ingredients. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines. Support bartenders during high-volume periods to ensure efficient service. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning procedures. Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests when necessary. Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Previous bar, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
