Bartender/Server

Windsong Farm Golf Club is hiring. We have an immediate need for an experience bartender/server to join our fun team. We are a private golf club located in the heart of Independence, MN. Windsong is the only 36-hole private golf club in the upper Midwest. In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve delectable food, and ensure every member/guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. Whether mixing cocktails or delivering outstanding customer service, you'll be at the heart of our bustling venue, driving positive interactions and unforgettable moments. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and deliver prompt, friendly service. Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management, ensuring timely service during busy hours. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities while providing expert recommendations. Collaborate with team members to support events and main service dining. Requirements Previous restaurant or food industry experience, especially in fine dining, private clubs, or banquet environments. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of responsible beverage service practices. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist in event setups.
