Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our team at the Fairwary at the Marshall Golf Club. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly preparing and serving food and beverages. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable experiences for our guests, whether they're enjoying a night out, celebrating at a special event, or attending a banquet. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively environment that values teamwork, efficiency, and positive energy. Duties Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Lightspeed POS, ensuring quick and precise service Potentially work on the beverage cart or outdoors at the Snack Shack Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience and promote sales opportunities Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain food safety and food handling standards according to health regulations, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage Assist with catering events by setting up service areas and serving guests efficiently Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operation during busy hours Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, but not required Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is highly desirable Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service Proven customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques Experience working in hospitality environments that require serving alcohol responsibly and adhering to legal regulations Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate billing Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your passion for hospitality shines!
