Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service. Assist in catering events as required, providing beverage service in various settings. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to customers. Skills Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Proficient in cash handling procedures to ensure accurate financial transactions. Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus for establishments that serve craft beers or specialty drinks. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for order processing. Experience in catering services is advantageous for event-based bartending roles. Background in the food industry with an understanding of food handling practices is essential. Previous experience working in a nightclub or high-energy environment is preferred.
