Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional service to guests, and ensuring a clean and organized bar area. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food offerings and drink specials, to provide recommendations to guests. Operate the Toast POS or Square POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to cash handling procedures. Assist with banquet events and catering services as needed, providing top-notch service to large groups. Uphold high standards of customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to patrons at the bar. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Toast POS or Square POS systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
