Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a welcoming and fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, maintaining a clean environment, and effectively communicating with both guests and other staff. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS systems. Provide recommendations to guests, including upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining proper food handling and safety standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure an enjoyable experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and basic math skills. Assist with hosting duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations through OpenTable. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and provide excellent guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Square is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards within the restaurant setting.
