The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a blend of technical skills, including proficiency with various POS systems, as well as strong time management abilities to ensure efficient service during busy shifts. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain an organized and clean bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and answering questions about the menu. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar or dining area. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering when necessary. Ensure compliance with all local laws regarding alcohol service and food handling practices. Assist in catering events or banquets as needed, providing exceptional service in various settings. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing efficiently. Experience Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred. Familiarity with food service operations and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting. Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Experience in the food industry, including knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in drink preparation and customer interactions.
