Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Food Runner/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a positive experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed. Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations. Requirements Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service. Experience with beverage recipe development and creative presentation styles. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as food service or retail math is advantageous. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management are essential.
