Duties Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with professionalism and enthusiasm. Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills. Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing detailed descriptions to enhance guest experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills and tips, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and resolve any service issues promptly. Adhere to all food handling procedures, alcohol service laws, and safety protocols to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without sacrificing quality of service. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering, retail math calculations, and cash handling tasks. Experience working in catering or banquet settings is advantageous. Must possess a friendly demeanor, adaptability, and a team-oriented attitude to thrive in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants.
