Job Summary:
Seamlessly connected to Red Lodge Pizza Co., Natali's Front Bar offers guests the full culinary and drink menu no matter where they sit. As a bartender, you will act as a central hub—mixing beverage orders for Pizza Co. servers while managing complete food and drink service for guests at the bar and patio.
Essential Job Duties:
Include the following; other duties may be assigned:
Operational Support:
Beverage Crafting:
Mixes beverages using an extensive range of ingredients, including liquor, bitters, soda, water, and fruits.
Guest Service:
Takes orders directly from customers and fulfills drink requests from restaurant wait staff promptly.
Recommendations:
Assesses customer preferences to make personalized drink recommendations.
Age Verification:
Checks identification to strictly verify legal age requirements for all customers.
Transaction Management:
Collects payments and uses the POS system accurately.
Food Service:
Takes orders and serves food to customers seated in the bar area and on the patio.
Area Maintenance & Inventory:
Stocking:
Keeps a well-stocked bar of all necessary ingredients, garnishes, and supplies; changes kegs as needed.
Cleanliness:
Maintains sanitary conditions by cleaning the bar top, tables, chairs, work areas, and bathrooms.
Prep Work:
Slices and prepares fresh fruits and garnishes daily.
Facilities:
Assists with light maintenance such as hauling trash, mopping, or shoveling as required.
Operational Readiness:
Menu Development:
Works with management to recommend and implement new drink menu items.
Compliance:
Adheres to all local, state, and federal food and beverage laws and regulations.
Communication:
Employees must be accessible via cell phone and/or email for scheduling and human resources applications.
Skills and Qualifications:
Hospitality Mindset Character:
Engaging, honest, and dependable; able to resolve conflict with a professional attitude.
Technical Skill:
Extensive knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and bar standards.
Organization:
Self-motivated, organized, and efficient with an excellent memory for orders and regulars. Experience/Education High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience working as a bartender preferred. RASS Certification required (or ability to obtain) .
Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical Demands:
Regularly required to walk, sit, reach, balance, and stoop. Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds (kegs/cases) and frequently use stairs.
Work Environment:
Exposed to long periods of standing and walking in a high-volume hospitality setting.
Schedule:
Requires the flexibility to work dinner service, weekends, holidays, and late-night hours.
