BAR LEAD / ASSISTANT MANAGER

Big Bull Bar & Grill | Winston, Montana Big Bull Bar & Grill is looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Bar Lead / Assistant Manager to work directly alongside our General Manager and help lead one of the busiest and most well-known establishments in the area. Responsibilities Include Acting as the Manager on Duty (MOD) during assigned shifts and ensuring smooth day-to-evening operations Assisting with staff scheduling and helping maintain proper coverage during busy periods Training and onboarding new bartenders and servers, including drink preparation, menu knowledge, and service standards Leading by example and jumping in wherever needed, whether that's bartending, serving, food running, helping in the kitchen, or solving problems during high-volume periods Supporting the General Manager with daily operations, staff accountability, guest satisfaction, and maintaining company standards Helping maintain the reputation and level of service that Big Bull has become known for What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Leadership skills and a team-first attitude Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to stay calm, organized, and make decisions under pressure Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of responsibilities Someone who wants to become a trusted leader and a recognized face of Big Bull Nights and weekends are required, especially during the first year The Right Person for This Position We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working in a busy environment and wants consistent, full-time hours throughout the year.
