We are looking for a professional, energetic, and dependable Bartender/Assistant Manager to join our team. As Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth shifts, effective team communication, and adherence to service and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Bartender Duties:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Maintain bar inventory, stock levels, and cleanliness. Uphold responsible alcohol service standards in compliance with laws and house policies.
Assistant Manager Duties:
Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring service standards are met. Assist with opening and closing duties. Help train and mentor staff, fostering a positive team environment. Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally. Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards. Assist with scheduling, inventory, and ordering as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous bartending experience required; management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Reliable, professional, and team-oriented. Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain/maintain required alcohol service certifications. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
