In addition to serving our own beers, cider, wine, and craft cocktails, we're specializing in sourdough pizza topped with local ingredients. Throughout your shift as a bar staff member, you serve as the face of Fullsteam. This means you should always be working to provide the best customer experience possible. A successful candidate for this role is someone capable of being equally and simultaneously responsible for maintaining the liveliness, safety, comradery, and spirit of the bar. Bartenders provide our product to the crowds with quiet confidence in themselves, the team, and the beer. Responsibilities Engage with patrons Take food and beverage orders Maintain a complete and working knowledge of all beers on draft, as well as any upcoming releases to promote Be aware and able to explain menu items and specials Be able to make cocktails to recipe quickly and efficiently Collect money for drinks served Process customer bills and payments Serve wine, cider, cocktails and draft beer as ordered Process any merchandise or take-away beer orders Process food orders correctly and work with kitchen to make sure it's delivered in a timely fashion Be aware of service well and keep up with drinks to be made and run to tables Maintain a clean and orderly bar and tavern space Wipe spills, clear dishware Update POS system with low-stock and out of stock items in a timely manner. Properly adhere to all Alcohol Beverage Commission of North Carolina rules and regulations Enforce all practices concerning underage or excessive drinking Properly conduct all Opening or End of Shift Duties Properly report all deposits, tips Other projects and responsibilities may be added as needed. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings. Proficiency with POS systems Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service abilities to create positive guest interactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations. Experience in the food industry with catering or food service background is highly desirable. Have or be working on the Responsible Server training program (RASP) through NC ABC Able to lift over 50 lbs independently and capable of moving 165 lbs with assistance. Able to stand for long periods of time. Comfort with repeated use of stairs. Customer focused, and capable of always presenting a pleasant and friendly face for patrons A champion of teamwork - the bar staff is a unit that must work together to be successful Quick, efficient, attentive to detail, and communicative.
Pay:
$20.00 - $50.00 per hour
