We don't do high-volume "well drinks"—we do high-concept hospitality. We are looking for an Assistant Bartender who takes the craft seriously, possesses a high "hospitality IQ," and is eager to work in a creative, lab-style environment. If you view bartending as a profession and a performance, you'll fit right in. The Role The Assistant Bartender is the bridge between the backend prep and the guest experience. You will support the Beverage Coordinator during peak hours and lead service during mid-week shifts. This role requires a balance of technical precision (wash lines, dilution, garnish placement) and the ability to hold a meaningful, calm conversation with a diverse range of guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Execution:

Prepare classic and signature cocktails to exact specifications with speed and grace.

Bar Operations:

Maintain a pristine station, manage glassware rotation, and ensure the bar is "mise en place" at all times.

Guest Connection:

Act as a host and storyteller. You aren't just "taking orders"; you are guiding guests through a curated experience.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Beverage Coordinator and MODs to maintain the flow of the room, ensuring no guest waits too long for a drink or a greeting.

Phase 1: Initial conversation/vibe check. Phase 2: Technical "Stage." You will be asked to: Execute two classic cocktails (demonstrating proper stir/shake technique and dilution control). Discuss the flavor profile of a spirit of your choice.

Requirements & Schedule Part-Time:

18-22 hours per week.

Availability:

Primarily Thursday through Saturday evenings.

Experience:

1-2 years in a cocktail-focused environment or a high-end service background with a passion for spirits.

Compensation Base Pay:

$9.00 - $11.00/hr (Plus tips).
