Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while maintaining cash handling accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling protocols. Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring a safe environment in compliance with alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies promptly, track inventory levels, and assist with catering or banquet setups as needed. Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and event coordinators during food service or catering events to ensure smooth operations. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally. Solid understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service. Basic math skills including retail math for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques such as brewing or mixing cocktails; experience in retail math is a plus.
