Job description We are looking for an enthusiast barback to provide an excellent guest experience for our venue Dive Bar located in historic downtown Hickory at 117 Government Ave SW Hickory, NC 28602. Compensation includes base hourly rate plus tip share. This position is for Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights with potential other nights. Responsibilities Prepare setups for alcoholic and non-alcohol beverages for bartenders Stock ice, beer, wine, liquor for bartenders Take out trash and recycling items as needed Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Skills Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Relevant training certificate, on-going training provided Team player a must, no sharp elbows Ability to work in high volume environment Certifications TIPS Certification must be attained before first shift Food Handler Certification must also be attained before first shift These 2 certifications will be paid for by the company once onboarding paperwork is finished
