Bartender

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and seasoned, high volume Bartenders to join our team for the 2026 Summer Season. Here at Surf City Line , you will have the opportunity to work at the most Dynamic Bar and Restaurant on Topsail Island. This position is for experienced Bartenders with cocktail crafting experience and are not afraid of high volume. We are not a dive bar and we are not looking for applicants that do not have real experience! We are a Restaurant with multiple bars, beach access, live music, a huge multi level deck and we will be very busy all summer long. Must have skills, experience and open availability and most importantly, you must want to part of a great team. Open/Flexible availability required - this is not a "weekends only" position. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking drink orders. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences. Skills Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Experience in food service or catering is preferred but not required. Cash handling experience with attention to detail for accurate transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure compliance in beverage preparation. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Basic math skills for calculating bills and handling cash transactions.
