About Us Overflow is Lake Norman's only Event Venue + Self Pour Taproom! We have 70 self pour taps between our main level and rooftop, a patio, live music, fun happy hours, lots of private events, wonderful customers, and rockstar employees! About the Role We are looking for an energetic and outgoing Bartender/Server Lead with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Prepare and serve amazing cocktails Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked Create a welcoming and fun atmosphere Answer guests questions about products Assist guests with the tap wall Set up and breakdown for events Things Needed to be Awesome Positive attitude and friendly personality Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment Be committed to doing things the right way to ensure excellent service Qualifications Required Bartending experience Minimum legal age to serve A valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation Details Pay is an hourly rate plus tips with a guaranteed minimum 1-4 shifts per week Tuesdays-Sundays Growth opportunity NC ABC Permit Hiring Restrictions We cannot hire an employee to sell, serve or distribute alcoholic beverages who has been: convicted of a felony of any kind within 3 years convicted of a felony more than 3 years with no restoration of citizenship convicted of an alcoholic beverage offense within 2 years convicted of a misdemeanor controlled substance offense within 2 years or revoked permit holder within last 18 months and at location of employment DWI is a traffic violation, not an ABC violation
