Server/Bartender

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment. Duties Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled with precision. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty beverages using proper techniques. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills to ensure prompt service. Assist with food handling, catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as needed to support team operations. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is required; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Demonstrated ability in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to food safety regulations. Strong skills in sales, upselling beverages or menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue. Experience with banquet or catering service is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills combined with basic math proficiency for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety practices, alcohol serving laws, and hospitality best practices.
