Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the heart of the bar, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional beverage service, expert mixology, and engaging customer interactions. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of beverages and food items. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing orders, cash transactions, and billing accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; communicate needs for restocking in a timely manner. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling, basic math calculations, and retail math. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods like nightclubs or banquets, ensuring seamless customer service. Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety. Assist with food handling when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during catering or banquet events. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, spirits, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple tasks effectively through excellent time management skills. Experience working in the hospitality industry with food service experience that emphasizes safety standards like food handling and food safety protocols. Previous bar management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or catering events. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions confidently.
