• Job Summary
• As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for periodically overseeing a team within a food & beverage service environment, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service while being able to serve and/or tend bar during the shift. Your leadership skills will be crucial in driving team performance and achieving business objectives.
• Duties
• Manage and lead a team of associates to meet sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
• Lead, Supervise and maintain restaurant standards to enhance the customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control procedures
• Train, develop, and coach team members to improve their skills and performance
• Conduct recruiting activities to build a strong team Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take drink and food orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items in a fast manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stations/sections
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer
• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
• Oversee and assist with opening and closing duties as required
• Experience
• Proven experience in team management, preferably in a food & beverage service setting
• Strong understanding of retail math and pos systems
• Knowledge of food & beverage management practices and procedures including ServeSafe food safety practices and procedures with current certification
• Ability to lead by example and motivate team members
• Experience in training development and coaching techniques
