Job Description
Job Overview We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a bartender/server. While this is a seasonal role, there is a strong possibility of transitioning to a full-time position based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers, taking drink orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while adhering to cash handling procedures. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with restocking as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption. Participate in banquet services as required, providing excellent service during special events. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or as a bartender in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation techniques. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.
