Bartender The 701 Venue Overview We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS systems, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all patrons. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued, along with strong multitasking and time management abilities. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Engage with customers to provide friendly, attentive service while maintaining a professional demeanor. Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the bar area. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations. Assist in setting up for special events Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, including brewing techniques for craft beers or specialty drinks. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail math is preferred. Fine dining experience or background working in nightclubs, banquet settings, or the food industry is advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems like Clover is a plus. Strong skills in time management, sales, customer service, and food safety are essential. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in hospitality environments such as nightclubs or catering is desirable. Knowledge of food handling procedures and beverage preparation techniques will contribute to success in this role.
