Bartender

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join Kearney's newest restaurant! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service while crafting and serving beverages that delight our guests. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will create memorable experiences for patrons in a lively environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience. Manage Toast POS system to process orders accurately, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain balanced cash drawers through effective cash handling and cashiering skills. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and food handling regulations. Monitor guest behavior to promote safety and responsible drinking; address any issues promptly and professionally. Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at events like banquets or catering functions. Manage time efficiently during busy shifts by prioritizing tasks such as serving drinks, taking orders, and cleaning workstations to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and transactions. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales tracking, and accurate measurement of ingredients. Able to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environment Previous experience working with beverage brewing processes or in the food industry is a plus.
