In this role, you will be the heart of the customer experience, blending exceptional service with expert knowledge of food and beverages. Responsibilities Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service. Mix drinks and serve beverages responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol regulations. Provide attentive customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations. Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management and prioritization. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with health standards. Assist with events as needed to ensure seamless guest experiences. Requirements Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining, bartending, or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements. Basic understanding of the food industry, hospitality standards, and beverage preparation techniques such as brewing or bartending skills are a plus.
