Bartender/Server Hotel Garber Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with food and beverage service, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Knowledge of POS systems such as Lightspeed, along with food safety and food handling expertise, is essential for success in this position. Duties Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with attention to detail Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bar and dining spaces Assist in catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service Support bartending duties including mixing drinks, garnishing, and maintaining bar stock Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail math preferred Knowledge of POS systems such as Lightspeed is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously Food safety certification or knowledge of proper food handling practices preferred Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or special event hours as needed Join our team to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences while working in a vibrant environment that values professionalism and guest satisfaction.
