Nights and weekends required The Wildcat Publick House is a new locally owned gastro-dive bar in downtown Durham . We're building a neighborhood bar with great food, cold beer, straightforward cocktails, South Shore bar pizza, sports, music, and a laid-back atmosphere. We're looking for an experienced, dependable bartender who can handle a busy bar while still making people feel welcome. What You'll Do Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, shots, and specialty drinks Provide fast, friendly service at the bar Take food orders and work closely with the kitchen Handle cash and POS transactions accurately Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized Check IDs and follow all NH alcohol-service requirements Help maintain a fun, welcoming atmosphere Assist with opening and closing duties Work efficiently during busy college, game-day, and late-night periods What We're Looking For Previous bartending experience preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Friendly, reliable, and able to talk to just about anybody Strong sense of urgency without sacrificing hospitality Able to work nights and weekends Team-oriented attitude Knowledge of beer, cocktails, and basic bar operations Ability to stay organized when things get busy We're not looking for overly formal service. The Wildcat is meant to feel like the kind of bar where people can grab a great pizza and a beer, watch a game, hang out with friends, and become regulars.
