Job Description
Gunstock is now hiring Barbacks for the upcoming winter season! The Barback primarily serves as the Bartender's assistant. The Barback will support operations by ensuring that the bars are clean and properly stocked so that shifts and events run smoothly and that beverage revenues are maximized. The Barbacks will support bartenders by handling requests from customers and fellow servers by filling basic orders and informing the Bartenders of more significant requests. The Barback will continuously monitor assigned work areas and may be responsible for assisting with inventory counts, bussing bar area, and washing glassware in addition to ensuring that bars are continuously and fully stocked with appropriate drinkware and supplies. The Barback will be knowledgeable of and responsible for upholding standards for proper food handling and sanitation, as well as local and state guidelines for responsible alcoholic beverage service.
