Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, organized, and clean. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the restaurant and nightlife industry while providing exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Stock shelves with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies as needed. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth service during busy shifts. Replace kegs, put liquor and beer orders away Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area. Help manage inventory levels and report any shortages or issues to management. Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to clean efficiently and maintain high standards of hygiene. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service is essential. In addition to hourly rate, barbacks also receive cash tips.
